It is a yearly tradition for our neighbouring 'hood to host musical groups on their front stairs. I was curious how this was going to work while we were reading about it on the posters.
A lovely group of people in a 6 block radious invites small musical acts to play on their front porches for a set. Their were so many wonderful performers. Other residents of the area did chalk drawings, music classes, kids crafts and poem sharing.

I was the 25th Buskers Carnival this last weekend. It happens that the at the 2nd The Bare Naked Ladies picked up their fourth member. Steven Page (Their former front-man) opened the carnival with a crowd pleasing show!
There were so many amazing people sharing their talents. I think I was expecting more musical acts than their were. I think my idea of the term busker was limited street musicians but that has now changed. Maybe due to the fact that I hadn't seen acrobats doing their thing on Granville.

It was a brisk morning today, yet we still braved the elements to take some family photos today. I LOVE these guys. Jonathan and Madison are so cute & funny. You can't expect anything less from Mel and Don's kids though. You can tell Melanie and Don truly live to make their kids happy.

Trish took her kids Owen and Ahria for a walk in the Green Timbers Urban Forest. They laughed and talked and harrassed some ducks! This was a great visit in the beautiful park.
I can not believe how much these two have grown over the last year. Plus they are so cute. This equaled an easier job for me!
